Co-founder of Survival Supply and Training, Scot Clouse, is a twenty-plus year firefighter, trainer, hunter, avid outdoorsman, and businessman. He has responded to many natural disasters, as well as some of the major catastrophes in the U.S. Scot has trained with some of the best departments, squads, and teams here in the States. All of theses things made him see the reasons to start prepping.
After years of learning from others, research, and as well by trial and error, he has become an avid survivalist and a true leader in the field. Upon initially beginning to prep, Scot realized that gathering all of this information and learning how to survive in any situation was a huge undertaking for someone who had little or no experience. He seen the need to start a new company where people could get adequate educational instruction for prepping. Scot called his former co-worker, Greg, and discussed the need to help others again, just in a new format this time. He feels that this company will help each individual and family in their time of need, just as he has tried to do in the line of duty.
Greg McDonald, co-founder of Survival Supply and Training is a “been there, done that” fellow. Having spent his entire adult life serving as a EMT, Paramedic, Firefighter, Rescue Technician, K9 Trainer, Dispatcher, 911 System Manager and Teacher. He has seen the worst of the worst situations a person could find themselves in. Greg has also responded to numerous regional level disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita.
Greg is also an avid outdoorsman having spent practically a lifetime hunting, fishing, trapping, and gathering wild herbs. He considers himself a jack-of-all-trades person and enjoys many hobbies such as woodworking, welding, gardening and amateur gunsmithing, as well as marksmanship. But what Greg considers most important is being a Christian, husband, father and son protecting the people he holds dearest.
The co-founder feels that everything in his life was preparing him for starting Survival Supply and Training. He feels this to be his new mission, that is teaching and training others to be prepared for the unexpected.
